The UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) issued an enforcement notice to the UK Ministry of Justice for violation of the EU and UK GDPR. The notice reveals that the Ministry of Justice has contravened Article 15 of the EU and UK GDPR and Section 45 of the UK DPA Act of 2018, in that it has failed to provide, without undue delay, 7,753 data subjects with a copy of their data in accordance with its legal obligations. However, the ICO acknowledged the efforts made by the Ministry.
