The Government or Ontario released recently six principles known as ‘beta principles’ that would apply to data powered technology in processes associated with the Government. Transparent and explainable, good and fair, safe, accountable and responsible, human centric, and sensible and appropriate constitute the ‘beta principles’. The principles are in the nascent stage of adoption and the government expects that their adoption will uphold Ontario’s ethical standards and ‘complement’ related Canadian federal principles as well.
